OwnX Technologies of North America will be the exclusive distribution point of OWN-X Kft printing products on the North American continent.
Brian C. Jobmann, General Manager of OwnX Tech will spearhead distribution efforts, building and managing the reseller channel in North America. Jobmann, who has previously developed digital print solutions, brings more than 15 years’ experience in digital color printing to the new organization. In addition to building and managing reseller channels Jobmann brings experience in manufacturing, sales, marketing and establishing service organizations.

OWN-X Academy for Memjet Technology Training
Opens in Hungary
(in collaboration with Pannon University, Veszprem)
Between the 31st of August and the 6th of September, the inaugural Technical Training Courses for Reseller Service Engineers were held at the Pannon University in Veszprem, Hungary. Professor Hangos formally declared the facility open.

The training courses were developed and delivered by a team lead by Dr Zoltan Juhasz from Pannon University together with a team from the OWN-X Centre of Excellence for Memjet Technology. The topics covered included the SpeedStar 3000 design, architecture, software, hardware, trouble shooting, diagnostics, software and hardware upgrade procedures. Many sessions were conducted in small groups with individual hands-on practical training.
The training was hosted by OWN-X Managing Director George Kozmann and Technical Director Jack Armstrong. Delegates from Resellers across the globe attended the intensive training courses. Throughout the sessions, delegate proficiency was monitored and all successful delegates were awarded the Diploma of Technical Proficiency.
OWN-X Chairman Jules Farkas said that “The revolutionary Memjet technolgy and advanced design of the OWN-X Speedstar 3000 requires Reseller Service Engineers to have a thorough understanding of the equipment to enable them to provide autonomous 2nd line support to their End-users.”
